The Chinese Composer Community (CCC) is pleased to announce an upcoming Zoom guest session featuring composer Haibei Wang, who works across film, musical theater, video games, and concert music.
In this session, Haibei will share insights into her professional workflow when handling commercial scoring projects, including how she organizes Logic sessions and structures her production process for efficiency. She will also discuss the role of networking and professional relationships in the film and media industry, offering thoughts on how collaboration can lead to long-term career opportunities.
The talk will also cover practical aspects of working as a media composer, such as strategies for finding work, approaches to negotiations, and methods for responding to revision notes from directors and clients.
In addition, Haibei will share selected experiences from her work on musical theater productions, providing perspectives on collaboration and the differences between writing for stage and screen.
