On April 18th, the Chinese Composer Community (CCC) hosted its first internal documentary screening and in-person gathering in Los Angeles.
Members came together for an afternoon of film viewing, conversation, and connection, marking a meaningful milestone in CCC’s journey to build a stronger creative community.

The screening was followed by a group dinner, where members continued their discussions and exchanged perspectives on the industry.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the planning and execution of this screening event.
From early coordination and outreach to on-site organization and delivery, each member dedicated significant time and effort alongside their academic and professional commitments, making this highly challenging project possible. This screening also marks a unique milestone as the only event of its kind held outside of China.
Special thanks to the social media and outreach team for their extensive promotional work and audience engagement across platforms. We are also grateful to the planning and operations team for their organization and on-site coordination, as well as hosting. Appreciation goes to the online support and design team for their work on the website, visual materials, and communication design. We also thank the writing and communications team for their contributions to content organization and multi-platform promotion.
This event was made possible through collective voluntary effort driven by a shared passion for music and collaboration. It reflects our ongoing commitment to increasing the visibility of Chinese composers and musicians, and to strengthening the presence of our creative community.
We will continue to build and develop this community, supporting meaningful artistic exchange and the creation of new music.
